During a spur of the moment decision, Emily and I decided to spend our first night in London at a show. We stopped in at the Shaftsbury Theatre, which was showing Hairspray, and got tickets 30 minutes before the show started! We were in a little 2 seater box on the side of the theatre. The show was fantastic!! All of the actors had amazing voices, and the sing and dance numbers were great! It was a full house, and the crowd got very into it. I hope this will be the first of several shows I see in London!
Don't forget to ask for a student discount, even right before the show at the theatre.
