We were also given our agenda for the weekend, complete with times and Tube spots where we would meet. After class, we went to buy our weekly Tube pass and hopped on! The underground system is not nearly as complicated as I was worried it would be. There are clear maps and loads of signs, so we were good.
I set off with Ethan, Nicki, Emily, and Muriel. We stopped at St. Jame's Park since we were a little early to our meeting. There were a couple groups of school children who were running around in little uniforms.

Our attraction for the day was Westminster Abbey. Britt joined us again as our tourguide. The interior was absolutely stunning. The detail was mindboggling... carvings, stained glass, paintings... nothing was overlooked! There are many, many tombs underneath the ground... with little slabs that tell the share who is buried right under your feet! (However, major bummer: no pictures allowed inside)
After Westminster, we were set loose to do what we please. The rain had started and we got a taste of what London weather must really be like. You can tell the natives from the out of towners by how hard the rain must fall in order to get out an umbrella.
