One of the quiet pleasures in London is this view from the Costa Coffee on New Oxford Street located about halfway between the Tottenham Court Road and Holburn tube stations. This is about 2 blocks from our flats and our classroom. While it looks busy, I had to wait several minutes at 8am to get enough foot and road traffic to cue to get this shot. One of the secrets of any large city is to move 1 or 2 blocks off of the main roads. When you do, the crowds and the noise fall away. This location falls in between those extremes.
